Terms and Conditions

Effective Date: September 6, 2026

Welcome to TutorDock. By accessing or using our web application, you agree to comply with and be bound by the following Terms and Conditions. Please read them carefully.

1. Account Eligibility and Registration

  • Tutors must be at least 18 years of age to register and offer services on the platform. Minor students must use the platform under the direct supervision of a parent or legal guardian.
  • Users agree to provide true, accurate, and current information during registration, including contact details and educational qualifications.

2. Tutor Verification and Academic Filter

  • Tutors acknowledge that their profiles will enter a "Pending Review" status upon submission. Profiles will not be made public until manually approved by the TutorDock administration team.
  • Tutors must upload legitimate proof of academic qualifications (marksheets/degrees). Submitting forged, altered, or misleading documents will result in an immediate permanent ban without notice and dealt as per law.
  • Admin approval does not constitute an official endorsement. Students and parents are encouraged to perform their own independent background checks before hiring a tutor.

3. Platform Fees and Monetization

  • TutorDock operates on a fee-for-contact system (Pay-per-Slab) and flat-rate monthly/yearly subscription plans to unlock blurred contact details.
  • Prices and validity windows for all slabs and subscriptions are subject to change at the sole discretion of the platform administrator. A dynamic pricing may be adopted by administrator.
  • All payments are processed securely via our partner payment gateway. You agree to abide by the terms of the payment processor.

4. User Conduct and Scheduling

  • Tutors and students are responsible for updating and maintaining their own desirable time slots via their user dashboards.
  • TutorDock is a matching platform only. We do not control, manage, or employ the tutors, nor do we dictate tuition fees, class environments, or teaching methods. Teaching app inbuilt in our system may be utilized under mutual consents of tutor and students on payment of related fee fixed by administrator. It is optional.
  • Any disputes regarding offline tutoring sessions, payments between parties, or scheduling conflicts must be resolved directly between the tutor and the student/parent.

5. Limitation of Liability

TutorDock shall not be held liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages resulting from offline interactions, tutoring quality, academic outcomes, or platform downtime.

6. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Any disputes arising out of or in connection with this platform shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the local courts where the administrator resides.
